‘Valencia CF visits your school’ kicks off a new season in Torrent
The Club will visit twelve schools with special attention to the centres affected by the flash floods
Valencia CF, represented by ambassador Ricardo Arias, were present at an event organised by the Ayuntamiento de Valencia city hall on Thursday evening, paying homage to victims of COVID-19 and the region's essential services during the pandemic.

The act, presided over by regional government president Ximo Puig and city mayor Joan Ribó, was held in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento square. Participating were rhapsodist Vicent Camps, soprano Carmen Avivar and the Valencia Orchestra.

A minute's silence was held for all who had passed away from COVID-19, as well as acknowledging the role of essential services. A fireworks launch from various points of the city, filling the sky with white, rounded off the event.
